2011年綠色計(jì)算與綠色通信國(guó)際會(huì)議會(huì)議背景:
Computers,communicationsystemsandotherITinfrastructurehavebeenposingsevereenvironmentalproblemsbyconsumingsignificantamountsofelectricity,increasinggreenhousegasemissions,andcausingpollutionduringtheirproductionanddisposal.Toreducetheseenvironmentalproblemsandcreateasustainableenvironment,newmodels,algorithms,methodologies,toolsandsystemsareneededsowecangenerategreenITsystemswithhighenergyefficiency,lowgreenhousegasomissions,lessharmfulmaterialsandeasilybeingreusedandrecycled.
ThegoalofGreenCom2011istoprovideaforumforscientists,engineers,andresearcherstodiscussandexchangetheirnewideas,novelresults,workinprogressandexperiencesonallaspectsofgreencomputingandcommunications,aswellastoidentifyemergingresearchtopicsanddefinethefuturedirections.
AuthorsofselectedpapersfromGreenCOM2011willbeinvitedtosubmitanextendedversion,andthebestofthesewillformaspecialissueintheJournalofSystemsArchitecture:EmbeddedSoftwareDesign(Elsevier).
